Home Zone for the Holidays – Explore Vancouver with Evo!

Evo car crop

Home for the holidays doesn’t mean you have to be stuck in the house, jump in an Evo and find an adventure for the whole family! There are plenty of awesome, quick and fun outdoor adventures accessible within the Evo Home Zone. Take advantage of our free membership and free minutes, grab 4 friends and get outside!

Pacific Spirit National Park

Get in the car and drive towards UBC on the west side of Vancouver. You’ll be heading into a beautiful network of trails, perfect for trail running, leisurely walks with your dog, or just escaping the hustle of the city. Pacific Spirit National Park offers 875 Hectares of forest. Also check out Wreck and Acadia beach, year round for beautiful views.

Warning: Wreck Beach is an officially designated nude beach, even though we’re in the coldest season, you may see more than just the views!

Grouse/BCMC

The North Shore Mountains are closer than you think! If you don’t take advantage of them while living in Vancouver, you are truly missing out on one of the gems of the Sea to Sky area. If you don’t have a car to get over the bridge, you’re in luck! Grouse Mountain is a short drive from downtown Vancouver and accessible via Evo. To avoid the crowds, we suggest staying away from the Grouse Grind and hiking the BCMC or the Flint and Feather. Reward yourself at the top with a hot chocolate, or even better a cold beer!

Capilano Canyon

While we’re talking about the North Shore, we also highly recommend taking advantage of the parking at the bottom of the Grouse Grind and jogging down the hill to hike through Capilano Canyon. The iconic Cleveland Dam and luscious canyon forest are a North Vancouver must-see. Cross pipe bridges, walk by salmon fishers and breath that fresh air! The hike is only about an hour long, so it’s the perfect quick escape from the city.

Feeling a pit peckish after your hike? Swing by the new BeFresh location in Edgemont. Also, want to try out SPUD, use YERVANA20 for $20 off your first order of $60 or more.

Mosquito Creek Trail

Changing up your trail running routine? Another perfect short trail running spot in the Evo Home Zone is the Mosquito Creek Trail in North Vancouver. This is a great spot to run in the outdoors. Want to make this trip even better, go a little deeper into North Van and hit up Buddha-Full, for a delicious healthy lunch.

Stanley Park

This may be a obvious one, but did you know you can take your Evo into Stanley Park? There’s no shortage of things to do in Vancouver’s first, and largest urban park. Explore over 27 km of trails winding through the forest, walk to Third Beach for sunset or check out the views from Prospect Point.

Hot Tip! Did you know there’s a new cafe and restaurant at Prospect Point, so get your coffee on (bring a re-usable mug and enjoy it while you walk through the park!)
