Experience a meaningful day along the Sea-to-Sky, learning more about the Squamish and Lil’wat cultural history, traditions and practices from ancient times to modern day and selecting a beautiful piece of Indigenous artwork to bring home!
First, you’ll visit an Interpretive Forest Trail, the Salish Stroll, with an Indigenous Local who will share their knowledge of local flora and fauna in our shared territory. Discover how the Squamish and Lil’wat People used the local flora and fauna for food, in teas as preventative medicine, and to create useful tools.
After exploring the forest, you’ll get to take home a piece of beautiful, handcrafted art work from Whistler’s largest First Nations shop! The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre Gift Shop features incredible handcrafted artwork, jewelry, pottery, and more. You’ll have a $100 gift card to put towards a the piece that resonates with you most!
