What is Yervana?
Do you dream of skiing the best powder, hiking hidden trails, or canoeing into crystal clear water? With Yervana, you can make that daydream your next outdoor adventure.
Yervana is an app and web-based platform connecting adventure-seekers with locals who live for the outdoors–so you can spend less time researching what to do, and more time doing what you love.
Designed to reflect the west coast outdoors lifestyle, Yervana was created to take the work out of getting away from work. When you download the app, you’re instantly connected to tons of adventures led by knowledgeable local hosts, ready to share their passion for the great outdoors with you.
Launched in Vancouver BC in 2018, Yervana is a growing community with adventure-seekers, outdoor enthusiasts, wanderers and explorers (like you) joining every day. Instead of scouring websites for ideas or using a middleman (like booking through a hotel), you can use Yervana to search, discover and pay for one-on-one or small-group activities with locals, booking an outdoor adventure from start to finish directly from your mobile device or laptop.

How It Works
Cut down on your screen time and book an outdoor adventure from start to finish from your phone or laptop. Using the app or website, adventure seekers (or Explorers) can browse Adventures (outdoor activities) offered by knowledgeable hosts (Locals). You can search by city, date/season, activity, or price.
Through the app you can get to know your Local through their bio and rating, and decide if the Adventure is right for you. Adventure listings will tell you the essential info about the activity, like what you need to bring, what to wear, the difficulty level and how long it takes.
Once you’ve selected an Adventure, book and pay for it using any major credit card directly within the app or through the website. You can contact the Local using Yervana’s in-app messaging feature to ask questions, confirm details or make changes to your plan if needed.
We ask both Locals and Explorers to rate each other on a scale of 1 to 5 stars after each Adventure to help us create a respectful and secure community.
